In short
- Free has no time limit: it scans and explains everything, includes Disk Tools, and lets you remove items and uninstall apps one at a time, with Undo.
- Pro frees up space in one go: the Collector, Add All Safe Items, goal mode, project hibernation, whole cloud drives at once, and sharing duplicates’ space and compressing cold files.
- Pro Yearly ($19.99 a year) and Pro Lifetime ($39.99 once) have the same features, for up to 3 Macs. Lifetime includes all future versions.
Free, with no time limit
- Scan your whole Mac, your home folder, any folder or drive; the map, rings and list; search and Quick Look.
- System Data, explained, and every item MoreRoom recognises, with its safety label and explanation. Rule updates included.
- Storage Weather, the widget, alerts and the menu bar item.
- Ghost space: see it, and get it back by quitting the app that holds it.
- Is my Mac ready for the next macOS update? at a glance.
- Keep in the Cloud, one folder at a time.
- Free Without Deleting: find identical files and files you haven’t used for two months, and see how much they could save.
- Disk Tools: speed test, health, details and a read-only check for any drive. See Disk Tools.
- Uninstall Apps with their leftovers, one app at a time.
- Move items to the Trash one at a time, from anywhere, with Undo and History; Downloads Cleanup one file at a time.
- Projects: see dormant projects, and wake up hibernated ones.
No nag screens and no “health score”: features that need Pro simply show a PRO badge.

When Pro Yearly ends
If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the year you paid for. After that, MoreRoom simply goes back to Free: your settings, history and Storage Weather data stay, and nothing on your Mac is changed. Activate a key again at any time to get Pro back.
