## What is it?

The cache of the new Microsoft Teams app inside its sandbox container: web content, images and app resources.

## What happens if you delete it?

Teams downloads what it needs again, so the first launch after clearing is slower. Chats, files and meetings are kept in Microsoft’s cloud.

## How to remove it properly

Quit Teams completely, then move `~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2/Data/Library/Caches` to the Trash. Microsoft also suggests clearing the Teams cache as a troubleshooting step.
