## What is it?

Opera’s disk cache: copies of images, scripts and other files from websites, kept so pages load faster, in `~/Library/Caches/com.operasoftware.Opera`.

## What happens if you delete it?

Rebuilt as you browse. Bookmarks, passwords, history and sessions are kept in your profile.

## How to remove it properly

In Opera, open `opera://settings/clearBrowserData` and select only cached images and files. Or quit Opera and move the folder to the Trash.
