## What is it?

MacWhisper, a transcription app built on Whisper, downloads speech models into `~/Library/Application Support/MacWhisper/models`. Models range from under 100 MB (tiny) to about 3 GB (large).

## What happens if you delete it?

Models can be downloaded again from MacWhisper’s settings. Your transcripts are not stored in this folder.

## How to remove it properly

In MacWhisper, open Settings › Models and delete the models you don’t use.
